All of Oklahoma's congressional delegation except Sen. Tom Coburn have joined forces to override Bush's veto of a $23 billion water resources bill.
Sen Jim Inhofe is even leading the effort to override the veto.
Coburn was the only Oklahoman to vote against the Water Resources Development Act on final passage.

GOP Leader Doesn't Like Brown Babies
State Rep. Randy Terrill, R-Moore. doesn't want Oklahoma to provide prenatal care for women because he believes it will "encourage other women to illegally cross the U.S. border." Tulsa World has an article.

It isn't Riverdance
Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor and Police Chief Ron Palmer
The proponents of this new tax want the gathering spots to be privately owned, so they can order the public to leave without being required to have a valid reason. (like Mall Protesters)
Their tax of choice is a sales tax with no provision to exempt groceries.
Vision 2025 was supposed to have included river development. With so much money being flashed around by the "yes" faction, one must question whom will this benefit.

"All we've been getting out of City Hall are broken promises," City Councilor Roscoe Turner said.
City Councilor Jack Henderson said it's time to say no to City Hall and the "ridiculous things they want to do when north Tulsa looks like a war zone."
An ex-head of the Black Officers Coalition calls Palmer's return "my worst nightmare."

Studies have shown that global warming will destroy California's Napa vineyards.
