As elections approach, politicians fancy themselves as somehow better than we remember them to be. Congressman John Sullivan (R-Oklahoma) is one such politician.

The Tulsa Republican has been airing television commercials that could be described as downright spiritual.

Perhaps I recall a different Congressman Sullivan who was wheeled to the House floor, casting the deciding vote against Head Start.
